One of the largest operators in the country, Extra MSA runs seven UK sites, all on primary routes. Its busy motorway services include fuel filling stations, food outlets, hotel facilities, parking and meeting rooms. In each one you’ll find big brands such as McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, Starbucks, Nando’s, Patisserie Valerie, JD Wetherspoon and M&S Simply Food.

Waste Source started talks with Extra MSA’s senior management team in 2015. The company were keen to work with a broker - they knew that was the best way for a distributed business like theirs to get the most out of local suppliers. But the levels of support and service they expected simply weren’t being met with their arrangements at the time. After a successful review, Extra MSA switched to Waste Source across all seven sites, and we were able to deliver next day exchanges on all ad hoc requests, respond to emails in under an hour and provide a long term account manager, all as part of a cost effective relationship. The Waste Source Portal has also proved a great asset in helping the Extra MSA team analyse monthly spend for their highly seasonal business.
